Alexandria Collins is an award-winning director and screenwriter based in Los Angeles, CA. She tells dynamic stories across genres from horror and psychological thrillers to intimate dramas. Alexandria’s films explore sexuality, relationship dynamics and religion from her unique point of view.

She is a 2025 Film Independent Project Involve Directing Fellow and in 2024 was selected as a mentee in the Ryan Murphy HALF Initiative Director’s Program on MONSTER(s): The Eric and Lyle Menendez Story.

Her film WOMAN TO WOMAN (2022) won Best International Short at the BIFA-Qualifying Manchester Film Festival and Best Short Film at the Tokyo International Film Festival. She was honored as Best Director at the Katra Film Series and Best Female Director at the Venice Shorts Fest for the same film.

Alexandria directed the HULUween/20th Digital short REBORN. She is attach to direct her feature screenplay adaption of Reborn with Disney. Other selected directorial works: CICADAS (2023), THE WAY TO, EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE, MILK RUN and GOALS N’ SHIT (series). Her films have screened at Canneseries, Hellifax, NY Intl FF and Chelsea FF amongst others.

Her first love was acting, and Alexandria has appeared in features, TV, commercials and theatre. She credits her experience as a performer for her passion for directing and expanding narratives.

Alexandria has a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Florida A&M University and is repped by Writ Large.
